A carved shell cameo — a profile in warm cream against a soft ground, set into a textured gold-tone frame and hung on a matching chain. The oldest motif in jewelry, still doing what it does: a face turned away, caught in relief. Frame is unmarked.

Condition: slight distortion to the wire at the top of the pendant, barely noticeable in wear. Otherwise sound.
